Just to let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your lovely cottage. We had beautiful weather. The sunsets were great, wonderful hiking and delicious blueberries. Thanks much for sharing your cottage...Bay St. Lawrence is a very special place.

I must say I found your communication with me very friendly and informative compared to other people I tried to contact regarding renting a cottage. You answered all my questions and were willing to provide me with as much information as I needed including tourist information which I thought was wonderful and I found to be very helpful. I found your website to be a good source of information about the cottage. I especially liked the pictures and the calendar to check for availability. I also liked the fact that you noted the currency of the rental fee which a lot of sites don't do. At the cottage you seemed to think of everything from tourist brochures and general information about the cottage to information of interest of the surrounding area. Having books and CDs on hand was also a good idea. M----- picked up The Millionaire book and couldn't put it down and I've never seen him so engrossed in a book before as he is not much into reading. He can't wait to continue reading where he left off. We also enjoyed your collection of CDs especially the Leahy one which we had to get when we got home. Your instructions were very clear and easy to follow with regards to the cottage and your directions to get there.

We just wanted to send you a quick note to tell you that we found your cottage to be fabulous -- exactly what we wanted and needed. The location, the village, the view, the whales, the people, the weather, everything made us very, very happy to be there. You may be hearing from us for years to come when we consider beautiful, comfortable places to go on our vacations.

I received the security refund today and it reminded me to write and let you know how much we enjoyed the use of your cottage. You truly have a remarkable setting. I had never been to Nova Scotia before and was amazed by its beauty and space. I never considered returning, but may well change my mind. I need not have been concerned about keeping busy. I bought a Ludlam novel and didn't even pick it up except on the return flight. If we decide to return, I will get in touch next year. Thank you again for sharing what I know is a very special place.

I must say you have a beautiful cottage and property. We had a great time being residents of the area for a week. Very friendly people in town, especially the lady who runs the local whale watching service. The weather was great only raining for one prolonged period during our stay. Our only bad experience was having to leave! The second week of our vacation was nice, but not nearly as nice as the first week at your place. Thanks again for the experience!

We had a great time at your cottage. We arrived after a couple of days in the backcountry to this fantastic place in the most beautiful part of CB. It was much nicer than we'd expected. The week was spent hiking, and biking: mostly; we hiked Money Point, White Point, Glasgow Lakes, Coastal Trail; we rode out to Meat Cove and the area around the cottage. We ended up going for a wild sail on the Tom Saylor, of "Sail to the Whales" fame. We got fish from fishermen down at the harbour. We saw a black bear, lynx, moose and pilot whales every day. What can I say? It was fantastic. The weather was also fantastic; only had an afternoon of rain. We'd love to return at some point. I've also sent the web link to a half dozen friends. Thanks again.
